Abstract

It is crystal clear today that the Communist parties have failed to carry out agricultural collectivization; that they have destroyed the influence of the churches; that they have not raised the standard of living of the urban population; and most conspicuously of all, that they have been totally incapable of providing even a modicum or a modest semblance of democracy.
