Conference on Oceans Law & Policy

Description

The conference will address “Peaceful Maritime Engagement in East Asia and the Pacific Region”. Panels: Baselines and Archipelagic States; Navigation Rights/Law Enforcement; Arctic Shipping; Maritime Security Issues Concerning Small Island States; East China Sea Maritime Boundaries; Preservation of the Marine Environment, Including the Hazard of Plastic Debris; and Issues Arising Out of Climate Change. Our 44th Annual Conference is co-organized with The Japan Institute of International Affairs, World Maritime University--Sasakawa Global Ocean Institute at the World Maritime University and the Nippon Foundation.

The 2020 annual conference has been postponed until 2021.
