Conference on Oceans Law & Policy
Description
For the 47th Annual Conference 2024, the U.S. Naval War College - Stockton Center for International Law, the World Maritime University - Sasakawa Global Ocean Institute (WMU-GOI), and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru held the first COLP in Latin America. It was held in Lima, Peru, and focused on "Ocean Governance in the South Pacific and Latin America." The conference honored the Latin American historical contribution to the law of the sea and ocean governance, while raising awareness, discussing, and exchanging perspectives about the challenges and opportunities for the South Pacific Region.
