Abstract
The U.S.S.R. thus represents the complete opposite to Tsarist Russia-politically, economically, philosophically, socially, and perhaps most important of all, psychologically. While maintaining the external framework of a traditional empire-state, the internal substance has basically changed in the Soviet Union.
