Naval War College Review
Abstract
Recent years have witnessed a growing misunderstanding between the military services and representatives of the mass media. In an attempt to address the widening gap, the Naval War College recently served as the setting for a day and a half of frank and candid dialog between media representatives and the military staff, students, and guests of the Naval War College. The objective of this symposium was essentially educational, one which would prove beneficial to our students and, hopefully, provide some useful insights for the media guests into the service officer's problem of releasing information.
