Abstract

During the past year we have heard a swelling of voices raised in protest against nuclear -weapons. These voices have echoed through Europe and have been joined in strident chorus by a growing number of voices within the United Scates. Many of these voices come from people who are genuinely concerned about the prospect of nuclear war and the concomitant effects of such a war upon the world in which we live. One of the major voices has been that of the American clergy.
