Abstract

What I want to do this afternoon is to consider some aspects of, as the title says: "The Higher Direction of the War." Inimitably, that will in­volve me in some analysis of certain aspects of Anglo-American policy during the war and in what I hope is a fairly frank examina­tion of the Anglo-American Alliance.
