Abstract
In the wake of DESERT STORM and the phenomenal success of the coalition forces, it appeared to a considerable number of of observers that the United States was experiencing a "revolution in military affairs" or "RMA," a sharp discontinuity in warfare like that represented by the blitzkrieg of 1940.
