Abstract
Vice Admiral Arthur K. Cebrowski, forty-seventh President of the Naval War College and later founding director of the Defense Department’s Office of Force Transformation, was the prime intellectual architect of U.S. military transformation and network-centric warfare. When he passed away on 12 November 2005, he joined the pantheon of American military innovators.
