Abstract

The subject which has been assigned me this morning is "The Influence of Economic Considerations in the Formulation of National Strategy." I want to take up under that general heading two main subjects: (1) What is the Relation of Economic Con­siderations to Military Capabilities, and (2) What is the Relation of Economic Considerations to the Use of Military Capabilities in Wartime?
