Photograph of the residence of the President of the Naval War Collage. Built in 1896, it was designated for use by the President of the Navel War College in 1911 and first occupied by Admiral Raymond P. Rodgers. It has since seen a stream of distinguished visitors--chiefs of state, flag and general officers, and high ranking government officials of many nations as well as prominent educators and experts in the many fields of study at the College.
