Abstract
How should ethics instruction be incorporated into military education and how can it be implemented at all levels of the military? What are the military virtues and how can they be inculcated? These two questions, proposed as themes for discussion at the 1987 Joint Services Conference on Professional Ethics (JSCOPE), raise some questions of their own.
